Yoga and Integrative Movement
Integrative Yoga uses yoga as a pathway to greater connection, awareness, resilience, and well-being. Drawing on the 8 limbs of yoga, mindfulness, and nervous system regulation, each session combines movement, breath work, and reflective practices that help strengthen both body and mind, both on the mat and in daily life.
Classes blend elements of Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin Yoga, creating opportunities to explore self-awareness, emotional regulation, and deeper connection to yourself and others.
The 6- Week Yoga and Integrative Movement Series
Class 1: Awareness Through Yoga
Build awareness of your senses, body, breath, thoughts, emotions, strengths, and values while exploring inward awareness, self-study, and focused attention through yoga.
Class 2: Moving with Intention
Explore how breath, alignment, effort, and ease can help guide your movement and daily life with greater intention and purpose..
Class 3: Strengthening Resilience Through Yoga
Explore the relationship between thoughts, emotions, body sensations, and challenge while intentionally shifting attention toward strengths, affirming thoughts, authenticity, and inner resources.
Class 4: Listening to the Wisdom of the Body Through Yoga
Practice listening to your body's signals and allowing movement, breath, and awareness to emerge from felt sense, inner wisdom, and meditative awareness.
Class 5: Finding Balance Through Yoga
Develop practical tools for regulation, resilience, and emotional flexibility while exploring how breath, focused attention, and self-compassion can support nervous system balance.
Class 6: Moving Forward with Purpose
Integrate your learning through yoga and connect with your strengths, values, and gifts as you move forward with greater connection, authenticity, compassion, and purpose.
A Shared Strength in Motion Framework
While each Strength in Motion program uses a different form of movement, all programs follow the same six-step framework designed to cultivate awareness, intention, resilience, vitality, and connection.
